Services

I offer compassionate, integrative therapy tailored to your individual needs, experiences, and goals. My work is rooted in creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can explore what feels important to you at a pace that feels comfortable and manageable.

I understand that beginning therapy can feel daunting, particularly if you have experienced trauma, abuse, or difficult life experiences. My aim is to provide a calm, honest, and human therapeutic relationship where you feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout the process.

As an integrative therapist, I draw from a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches to tailor our work together in a way that best supports you. Every person’s experience is different, and therapy should reflect that individuality.

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy offers you a confidential space to explore your thoughts, feelings, experiences, and challenges openly and without judgment.

You may be experiencing anxiety, low mood, overwhelm, stress, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, grief, emotional exhaustion, or simply feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you. Therapy can provide space to better understand yourself, process difficult experiences, and move towards meaningful change and emotional wellbeing.

Together, we will work collaboratively and at a pace that feels safe for you, focusing on what matters most in your life and healing journey.

Trauma Therapy

Trauma can affect every aspect of life, including how we view ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us. You may feel overwhelmed, emotionally disconnected, hypervigilant, anxious, numb, or as though you are constantly in survival mode.

I offer trauma-informed therapy for individuals who have experienced:

  • Sexual abuse

  • Domestic abuse

  • Childhood trauma

  • Emotional abuse

  • Difficult or distressing life experiences

My approach prioritises emotional safety, trust, and stability while supporting you in processing and making sense of your experiences. Therapy is always led at your pace, with care and sensitivity to your individual needs.

Sexual Abuse Support

Experiences of sexual abuse can leave lasting emotional, psychological, and relational impacts. You may be struggling with shame, fear, anxiety, flashbacks, trust difficulties, self-esteem challenges, or feeling disconnected from yourself and others.

I provide a compassionate and non-judgmental space where you can speak openly and safely about your experiences. Therapy can support you in processing trauma, rebuilding self-worth, strengthening emotional resilience, and reconnecting with yourself in a way that feels empowering and healing.

You do not have to carry these experiences alone.

Domestic Abuse Recovery

Domestic abuse can deeply impact confidence, emotional wellbeing, safety, identity, and relationships.

The effects can continue long after the abuse has ended.

I support individuals who have experienced domestic abuse in understanding the impact of their experiences, rebuilding confidence, processing trauma, and developing healthier boundaries and coping strategies.

Therapy offers a space where your experiences are heard and validated without judgment or pressure.

Therapy for Children and Young People

I offer therapeutic support for children and young people navigating emotional, behavioural, or relational difficulties.

Young people may struggle with:

  • Anxiety

  • Low confidence

  • Emotional regulation

  • Family changes

  • School-related stress

  • Trauma or difficult experiences

  • Identity and self-esteem challenges

Sessions are adapted to the developmental and emotional needs of the individual, creating a supportive environment where they can express themselves safely and openly.

My Diploma in Working Therapeutically with Children and Young People supports my understanding of how to tailor therapy appropriately for younger clients.

Online Therapy

I offer online via video call or telephone therapy sessions for those who may prefer the flexibility, comfort, and accessibility of remote support.

Online therapy can be particularly beneficial if you:

  • Have a busy schedule

  • Experience anxiety around travelling or attending in person

  • Prefer the comfort of your own environment

  • Live further away

Online sessions provide the same confidential, compassionate, and collaborative support as face-to-face therapy.

Integrative Therapy

As an integrative therapist, I tailor therapy to each individual rather than using a “one size fits all” approach.

This means I draw from a variety of therapeutic theories and approaches depending on your needs, goals, and experiences. I believe therapy should feel personal, flexible, and responsive to you as an individual.

The therapeutic approaches I may integrate into our work include:

  • Person-Centred Therapy

  • Compassion-Focused Therapy

  • Solution-Focused Therapy

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Motivational Interviewing

  • Trauma-Informed Practice

  • Rewind Therapy

Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT)

Compassion-Focused Therapy helps individuals develop greater self-compassion and reduce harsh self-criticism, shame, and feelings of inadequacy.

This approach can be especially helpful for those who struggle with low self-esteem, trauma, anxiety, or perfectionism.

Together, we work towards building a kinder, safer relationship with yourself.

Solution-Focused Therapy

Solution-Focused Therapy centres on your strengths, goals, and the positive changes you would like to make in your life.

Rather than focusing solely on problems, this approach helps identify practical steps forward and build on your existing resilience and abilities.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy supports individuals in developing psychological flexibility, helping you respond to difficult thoughts and emotions in healthier and more manageable ways.

ACT encourages you to move towards a life that feels meaningful and aligned with your values, even in the presence of difficult experiences or emotions.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational Interviewing is a supportive and collaborative approach that helps individuals explore ambivalence around change and strengthen motivation towards positive growth.

This approach can be particularly helpful if you feel stuck, uncertain, or conflicted about making changes in your life, relationships, behaviours, or emotional wellbeing.

Rewind Therapy

Rewind Therapy is a gentle, non-intrusive therapeutic technique often used to support individuals experiencing symptoms of trauma or PTSD.

This approach aims to reduce the emotional intensity connected to traumatic memories without requiring you to repeatedly relive or describe distressing events in detail.

Rewind Therapy can help lessen experiences such as flashbacks, nightmares, anxiety, and intrusive memories in a safe and supportive way. Rewind Therapy as a focused therapeutic intervention for trauma-related symptoms.

In some cases, Rewind Therapy can be completed within a single session, although additional support sessions can be offered where needed.

This approach is designed to gently reduce the emotional intensity connected to traumatic memories without requiring you to repeatedly revisit distressing experiences in detail. Rewind therapy must be completed online or in person.
